Dr. Sabghir received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014. She went on to complete a three year surgical residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan where she completed her training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Sabghir received extensive training in elective forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, pediatric deformities and infections, treatment of lower extremity sports injuries, wound care and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Sabghir has been a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association since 2010, The Wound Healing Society since 2015, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics since 2016.
She has particular interest in congenital, biomechanical and pathologic conditions of the pediatric foot and ankle. Dr. Sabghir and been part of multiple pediatric academic studies throughout her training and presented one of her research projects at the APMA conference in 2014. She has volunteered at multiple marathons and sporting events around the US, pediatric foot screenings, and at Yanhee International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Sabghir is also heavily involved in the International Down Syndrome Coorporation and has special interest in working with the special needs population. Dr. Sabghir is board qualified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
